This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information on this website (bvsales.ca) in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Act (BC PIPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) for interprovincial and international transfers.

- New customer setup forms: business name, legal entity type, contact details, credit references, and other information required to establish a wholesale account — submitted via JotForm.
- Technical data: IP address and browser information may be logged automatically by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and our form processors as a standard security measure. We do not use this data for profiling or marketing.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16.

When personal information is transferred outside Canada (including to the United States), it is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We take reasonable contractual steps to ensure it receives comparable protection.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
6. Cookies & Tracking
This website does not use any first-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or equivalent tracking scripts are loaded.
Our third-party form providers (Formspree, JotForm) may set functional cookies within their embedded forms to support form operation. These are strictly necessary for the forms to function. Please refer to each provider's privacy policy for details.

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by applicable law (e.g., tax records for a minimum of 7 years).
